LEE V. SAMS SIMPSON -- The funeral for Lee Vernon Sams, 44, lifelong resident of Simspson, will be a 2:30 pm Wednesday at the Simpson Baptist Church, the Rev. Don Tilley officiating. Burial will be in the Glasco cemetery, with graveside services by the Simpson Masonic lodge. Mr. Sams died Monday at St. Joseph's hospital, Concordia. He was born June 15, 1920, at Simpson. Mr. Sams was a farmer and a member of the Simpson Masonic lodge, the Eastern Star, the Concordia Moose lodge and the Simpson Baptist Church. He is survived by the widow, Alice, a son, Gary Lee, and a daughter, Sheryl, all of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Richard, Glasco, and Mrs. Pauline Royz, Rio Hondo, Tex.; two brothers, William, Simpson, and Oran, Glasco.
